EOSC-Life partners at TU Wien have recently updated the “OSSDIP: Open Source Secure Data Infrastructure and Processes Platform”, created with support from EOSC-Life.
Why OSSDIP?
Life Science Research Infrastructures around the world face significant challenges when attempting to protect and maintain control over sensitive data, but still allow access by third parties.
Secure data infrastructures can help users ‘visit’ data in a highly controlled and monitored environment that safeguards the security of these data.
Why use OSSDIP?
TU Wien partners have created a pre-configured reference implementation based entirely on open source software that can be configured by users as needed to fulfil individual security requirements and deployment scenarios.
They also provide detailed documentation that describe the architecture and processes in such an infrastructure to support users in deploying this kind of secure data infrastructure.
